1. What Guitar Hunt Is

Guitar Hunt is a guitar inventory aggregator. We collect publicly available listings from independent guitar shops and present them in a single searchable interface. We are not a retailer — when you click through to a listing, you are redirected to the store that owns the listing, and any purchase is a transaction between you and that store.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use Guitar Hunt. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older. If you create an account, you must:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep your password confidential and secure
• Not share your account with others
• Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or attempt to disrupt the Service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract bulk data from the Service
• Circumvent rate limits, captcha protections, or authentication mechanisms
• Create multiple accounts to evade restrictions
• Use the Service to harass, spam, or harm others
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access source code we have not published
• Use automated tools to create accounts or send requests

4. Accuracy of Listings

Listing data — including prices, availability, descriptions, and images — is aggregated from third-party stores. We do our best to keep the data current, but:

• Listings may be outdated, incomplete, or incorrect
• A guitar may be sold before our database is updated
• Prices may have changed since we last scraped the store

Always verify the price, availability, and condition of any instrument directly with the seller before making a purchase.

5. Trademarks and Third-Party Content

Brand names such as Fender, Gibson, Martin, Gretsch, PRS, and others referenced on this site are trademarks of their respective owners. Guitar Hunt is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these manufacturers or the stores whose inventory we aggregate. All product images and descriptions belong to the respective stores or manufacturers.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that listings will be accurate. We are not responsible for the actions of third-party stores, including delivery, product condition, or returns.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Guitar Hunt and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service — including lost profits, missed deals, or the actions or omissions of any third-party store. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed USD $100.

8. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be announced on this page and, for registered users, via email.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
